My computer has been massively underperforming for a while and while I was playing a stuttering game today I finally snapped and ran tons of tests to see what was wrong.
My specs are as follows:
i5 7400
1060 3gb
2x4gb 2400 MHz RAM
(HP 580-023w)
The first thing I tried was userbenchmark after reading some forum posts on here

The drive issue worried me so I ran Crystal Disk

I do not know what the results to this mean but I am getting increasingly disturbed by stuttering frames and freezes.
I am not playing taxing games nor looking for insane graphical performance. I have been playing mostly Overwatch, Just Cause 3, Football Manager(Which lags horribly on clicks), and hearthstone(which sometimes crashes on loading into a game). I have been running these games for the most part, on the lowest graphic settings and with resolution scaling turned down for Overwatch in particular.
I was looking for tips on what to do- I was thinking about maybe getting an SSD but I wasn't sure what to get exactly and the process involved with choosing or even installing one.
I am hoping to get at least another year and a half out of this system
The task manager is constantly clogged with anti-malware programs and I was worried about malware so I ran some windows defender scans that turned up with nothing.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions
