Hiya,

I've never tried overclocking any of my components but am interested in giving it a go!

I don't know exactly what components I can overclock but I'll post my specs and hopefully you guys can give me some guidance as to what speed I should be clocking it to and how to actually do it haha!

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 (Stock Cooler)
GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060 WF2 6GB GDDR5 PCI-E
RAM: Corsair CMK16GX4M2D3200C16 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 XMP 2.0
MB: Asus Prime B350-PLUS AMD DDR4 S-ATA 600 ATX
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3, 80 Plus Gold 650W
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 4 TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive

Thank you!

I will give it a read! Thank you:)

If you are interested from an academic point of view, go ahead.

If you want to significantly improve your cpu or gpu performance, you will likely be disappointed.
Ryzen does not overclock much and your graphics card is already factory overclocked.
