So my uncle decided to crash at my place today and asked me to look at his laptop . I noticed it didn't have turbo on so I went into the BIOS settings to see if I can turn it on . Turns out the thing has a password and my uncle doesn't know about it . I asked him where he got the laptop he said he got as a gift but even when he did he got it second hand (basicly the previous owner didn't know the password for the thing either) . I've been sitting here scratching my head like an idiot thinking of ways to remove the password or guess it but to no avail . I tried removing all power including the CMO's battery but it didn't work then I tried to update the BIOS and that didn't work . Any idea what I can do ?
