Hey all..

So I built my PC in December of last year. Here is the configuration.

i5-11600K
bequiet Dark Rock 4 Cooler
ASUS Z690-P Motherboard
16GB x 2 | 3200Mhz GSkill RAM
1TB WD Blue SSD
Corsair RM750 PSU
Cooler MasterTD500 ARGB
3 Front Intake & 1Exhaust fan at the back

I just got a great deal for a GTX 1070 for $195, which is a pretty good deal where I live and its only been used for 6 months by a friend.
Its in very good condition, he tested it and sent me the results since he is in another city.
I am wondering if it's a good buy or not. What do you guys think?
It was impulsive of me to buy it so quickly but for that price and 8 gigs of VRAM, its a good deal for me.
I play on 1080p at 144Hz and do some Animation & 3D rendering on the side.
Looking to upgrade to a 30 series card when I have the money. But for now is this card gonna be a good fit for my current build?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks in advance.

Solution
That is a very good price at the moment, so I would be careful not to get scammed. A 1070 is still a very competent card for 1080p or even some 1440p in many titles. For $195 it is a good value right now.

Should work well on your system.

Thanks for the reply and the concern. Thankfully, I'm getting it from a friend, so pretty sure I'm not getting scammed. :)

Gonna have it in my hands in about 12 hours, so I might post an update in the this thread after I get it.
