Hey everyone, this is my first post.
I've been playing pc games for a long time and I suddenly am experiencing this sudden, odd FPS problem. I don't know how to fix it. I've been trying for about a week with different methods.
For example, I typically I get around a consistent 400-600 fps in CSGO. However, as of the past week for some reason, about every ten seconds, the frames suddenly drop to around 100-30 for a brief second, then go back up. My aim all of a sudden slows down, and the game also will also stutter occasionally. I have had small issues like this before, but have been able to find quick fixes. This time, however, I have no idea what to do. None of my parts are overheating, I don't recall changing anything, updated my windows, checked for driver updates, and I did a malware scan... but still no results. This issue happens in all of my Steam games. Here are my specs:
Intel Core i7 9700KF
40GB ddr4 RAM
Nvidia RTX 2060 Super
AsRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4s/ac motherboard
Any help would be appreciated
