Hello and thanks for reading. My case temps average 30C, and I'm going to replace my SmartPower 2.0 power supply with a Corsair HX 520. The PSU is installed in the top-left corner of my case, just above my 120mm TriCool exhaust fan, which blows out the back of my case. The SmartPower has an 80mm internal fan and an 80mm exhaust fan that also blows out the back of the case.

Please, please advise, how concerned should I be about the fact that the Corsair, with a 120mm fan on its "belly," will be sucking hot air from my case and particularly my CPU? It will be competing with my exhaust fan for airflow, and the TriCool runs at ~1200rpm/40cfm, which is faster than most power supply fans spin, but even still, there's only hot air for the PSU to intake.

Thank you for any responses.

thanks, mpilch. do I need to worry about the PSU overheating? Or just not working as well or as long because it is pulling heat from the CPU which idles at 36c?
