A few days ago i decided to buy a single SODIMM 8gb 3200mhz ram as a 2nd ram for my laptop which is an Acer Aspire 5 a515-45-R1ZM and when i installed it the system recognizes it and i could use the laptop as usual, but when i start to play some games (Elden ring, DOTA 2) the laptop will suddenly just reboot without any kind of BSOD screen. At first i thought it was faulty ram so i got it swapped out for a new one but then new one also makes my computer restart with no BSOD screen. I checked WhoCrashed and BlueScreenView to see if i could get more information regarding my crashes but there's either no dump files that are created or the dump files are corrupted (according to WhoCrashed)

I also tested my laptop using FurMark to see if it will reboot by itself and it did reboot by itself with no BSOD screen.

Could the problem be with faulty drivers or some kind ? i'm honestly at a loss and any kind of help would be appreciated.

Here are the dump of crashes that happened today, im going to add more if it continues to happen : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nP6rvHG8Y2GhCI01VVonZg7kY4PzN15U?usp=sharing

Below is the information regarding the new ram stick that i bought.

Mar 19 2015amd_sata.sysAMD SATA Controller AHCI Device driver http://support.amd.com/
Mar 19 2015amd_xata.sysAMD Stor Filter driver http://support.amd.com/
i know you said you took them off last time but they there again?
error is in the storage filter driver part, since they both have same date I am guessing they same driver package.

Crash 4 likely caused by Xata driver, I don't see them listed on the Acer site so unsure why they back again.
crash 5 is corrupted

Today i decided to reinstall my AMD Drivers using the auto detect software from AMD but when i installed it i got error 1603 and the installation failed, so i went into safe mode and used DDU to uninstall the graphics driver just in case, the uninstall process was successful but when my laptop was about to restart , it took a long time and was stuck on the Restarting screen for about 5 - 6 minutes before it showed me a BSOD with DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE as a message and when i try to install the drivers again it gave me the same error.

Can anyone explain what is wrong with my machine ? I posted the dump files in here : DUMPS

Hi,
Get another 8GB DDR4 3200MHz with CL value of 22 and install to make the total memory of 16GB, it will function in dual channel mode, avoid buying any module with XMP profile or automatic overclocking feature, like Kingston HyperX or Corsair modules.
https://community.acer.com/en/discu...choose-the-right-ram-for-my-acer-a515-45-r58w

so you new ram is CL 21, and your old stick is CL 22. https://memory.net/product/hma81gs6...3200-sodimm-pc4-25600s-single-rank-x8-module/
that could be part of it.
