For some background info, I recently sent my old mobo for RMA and got this new motherboard because I kept getting a red q-led. Got this new motherboard and only plugged in my GPU, CPU, and ram. Worked just fine, so I put it in my case and then plugged in everything else. After finishing I turned it on. The terrifying red q-led showed up AGAIN. I remounted the cpu and and replugged the 12-pin power connector for the CPU. I turned it on. Nothing. Tried using my screwdriver. Again, nothing. Did what ever IT guy says, turn it on and off 1000 times. Still, nothing. Please help me out I'm really frustrated. Only been a few hours since I got this new motherboard after RMA and it doesn't work.

Bring it back to the config that worked and see if it still works.

Are you sure you're not shorting out the mobo with a mis-placed standoff mounting pillar somewhere underneath, when the board is fitted in the metal case?

How certain are you that the CPU, RAM and GPU are still 100% good?

What was the problem on the old board that forced you to RMA it?

If you're overclocking RAM with XMP, switch it off in the BIOS.

Are you running 2 DIMMs or 4? Try with only 2.

If the motherboard LED is lit but the computer won't turn on, it may be due to various issues. First, ensure the power supply unit is functional. Check connections, both at the motherboard and components, and ensure the RAM and CPU are properly seated. If the problem persists, it could be related to a faulty motherboard, CPU, or power button. Consulting a technician may be necessary for a thorough diagnosis and repair.
