Hi all,

I’m hoping someone can shed some light on my little predicament! I’m putting together a new PC but it won’t turn on. I’m sure it’s something not plugged in correctly but I’ve checked it three times now and I’m a bit stumped. I checked compatibility on the parts before I bought them so they should be fine but here’s what I have:

PSU: Corsair RM650i (already had and was working fine in my previous build)
Motherboard: Asus B450 F Gaming (brand new)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (brand new)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 (already had and was working fine in my previous build)
RAM: 2 x 4GB DDR4 PC4-19200 288 pin DIMM (brand new)
Storage: Sandisk SSD (already had and was working fine in my previous build)
Case: Thermaltake View 71 TG RGB

I think my problem could be with how I’ve plugged in the front panel sensors on the motherboard but, again, I’ve trawled the internet and have followed what they’ve advised. But I may have misunderstood.

My PC doesn’t make any noise or show any signs of life so I do think it’s something just plugged in the wrong place etc. If anyone could throw any suggestions my way or if they’ve had similar issues I’d be grateful for any tips! :)

Thanks!

Laura
