Hey everyone

I want to build a new system but use my old ssd and hdd.
The ssd has the OS installed on it.
Can i just plug them both in and the system will boot normally? (Games are on harddrive, do i have to reinstall everything or can i just start my game like i would now?)

I think that most likely you will run into trouble.
I think there's a good chance that the the old OS won't agree with the new hardware.
I suggest doing a clean Windows install on the SSD.

Plug in your old SSD and see if it works, there are 3 outcomes
  1. works perfect, no problem
  2. works but can have some problems with drivers
  3. it won't work - then install windows again
Either way - you will not lose any information from the disk - but do NOT plug both in to start with, plug only the WINDOWS drive.

And what about the hdd with my games, if i got the system running with the os what do i have to do with the hdd, will it just work if i plug it in?
