Question Overheating CPU(i9900k) in bios

Recently i built a custom gaming computer, i used it for a couple of days everything was fine. However today something weird has occurred. while i was playing a video game, within 30 minutes, the CPU temperature reached 99 degrees Celsius. I restarted my PC. i got an error message that says "CPU temperature error" and CPU Fan error". Now even in bios the temperature goes from 37 degrees Celsius to 80+. all fans are working fine. i dont know whats wrong, Im beginning to think the i9900k has a defect.

GPU: RTX 2080TI
Ram: 32gb
motherboard: z390e
cooler : NZXT kraken x72 360mm

Your AIO pump probably died. Don't run the machine like that as the liquid could boil and start leaking out.

make sure your connection from the pump to the mobo is in solid. if you are able to sit in the bios screen safely, go to your fan settings, and try putting the pump on full and see if you can hear it run.

Try feeling the pump to check if its vibrating. If isnt then it's dead and you should RMA your cooler. If it is try reseating it with new thermal paste.
