So when I play heavier games my pc after a few minutes freezes and the sound is repeating. Then after about two seconds my screen goes black while the sound still playing (this time normal for 2-3 seconds then it's off). The only way to open it again is to restart the pc. I thought this would be the gpu but I just upgraded. Also I should mention it's a old pc that I just bought some new parts for.

My question is: is it the psu fault or mobo because I have a limited budget and I can buy only 1 new of them.

I should mention this would happen with my old parts the same way

Os:windows 10 (new) 64bit
Cpu:i3 550 3.2the
Mobo:GIGABYTE H55M-UD2H
Gpu: gt 1030 (new)
Ram: 2x4gb ddr3 (new)
Psu: on the back it's says (model:1859:black (c.22) power:lpg19-580w)

Please kindly list the MODEL number/brand/make of this unit...I tried to google search, but it takes me back to this thread instead, lol....Anyways, this surely sounds like a PSU problem, or maybe your GTX 1030 is faulty....Which GPU were you using previously??

EDIT: Is this your PSU model ? Looks like some generic unit to me. I won't recommend using this PSU though.

Well it's an old pc so I don't have the box of the psu but that probably is. It looks like it. just mine is black. I had a gt 220. I 'll probably switch it. But I just wanted a second opinion. Tnx
