[SOLVED] PCIE USB 3.0 Expansion Card Blocking GPU Fan

Hello, I am in need of more USB ports so I was looking around and found a few that I would like to purchase, such as the one here, USB Expansion Card. I looked in my case and at my MOBO to see what I was working with. My MOBO is from a pre-built ASUS, so it doesn't have much in terms of connectivity and expandability. My only PCIE1X slot is directly under my GPU, and the USB expansion card will cover over half of my fan that is closest to my IO ports on the GPU. I was wondering if this will cause cooling issues. I will attach photos of the inside of my case so that you can get a better look at what I am talking about. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How are your temps currently? Its not that large of a card, so it shouldnt degrade them by too much, but you should expect to see temps increase.

My temps now hover at about 31C depending in ambient and about 60C-64C when under heavy load.

When would you say that GPU temps become an issue? I have 3 intake fans, one exhaust, and a coolermaster evo CPU cooler.

If you see temps in the 80s, start worrying about temps. In the high 80s into 90s is when you need to take action.
