Question rtx 2070 or rtx 2080 for i7 8700

Hi guys, i just want to ask if i should get the rtx 2080 over rtx 2070 for about 150$ dollars more, also, will my cpu bottleneck the 2080? or will my psu be good enough?

My pc scpecs are:

I7 8700 (non k version)
Msi z370
16 gigs of ram g skill trident Z
Thermaltake Rome (toughpower) 750W gold eff and 62A on the 12V rail

i am able to buy the 2070 but i am afraid that after some time i will wish that i bought the 2080

Yeah, I think that's what i'll do, my biggest concern was that if I get the 2080 i wil spend more money for nothing, becouse the cpu wouldn't be able to get more performance from the 2080 than the 2070

8700 can handle a 2080.

it actually depend upon how much you want to spend if you dont can care about money go with the rtx 2080ti because it is most powerful gpu at present

The 8700 will handle the RTX 2080 just fine, no problems.
