you guys, funny, well here is another build, same issue, I wasn't joking when I said I didn't worry about the little things, like, how it looks. my newest build is the first time, that I will take the time, to make it look nice.

don't be worried with your help I am shore that the other build the AM2+ will not be this ugly. I have been looking at how you clean up your rigs, and how to repeat the process, I am confident that it can look nice.

:/ i can only imagine the sudden drop dead moments that Modo had had after seeing the pictures... poor modo

and now i am sure you are a man full of knowledge regarding WC'ing now that i've seen that swiftech block for those good ol' days.

cable management is the absolute necessity in your rig and ofcourse you'll see temps drop drastically when the cables untie and you no longer have them snaking around infront of the mobo and it'll be even better with temps as you're watercooling.

clean up those dust bunnies and you'll have a showroom worthy pc.

OI Hugo - WCing specs please?

Rig Spec is in my Sig

WC Spec is

EK Supreme HF CU (Full Copper)

OCZ PC2 6400 CL3 FLEX XLC 2 GIGS
AMD Anthon 64 X2 6000+ ADX6000IAA6C2
asus EN8800 ultra 768MB pci-e

this is what I am building the experimental radiator for, don't wont to show the pics yet. I have not cleaned it up yet, it still looks like the others.

Yes its a Black Ice GT Gen 2 Stealth 140mm rad on the back. I just switched out my tubing and went from my XSPC pump/res combo to a Swiftech MCP655 pump and EK 250 res. The res is a lot bigger than i expected... Even with the HAF-X being as big as it is I had to squeeze it in there. Temps dropped a few degrees also. Ill post updated pics when I get home from work.

Yeah I got that.. I ordering 140mm rad for my lovely HAFX asap..

Many thanks for replied my post. 😉

I am impressed,
This man receives a Moto C.M. thumbs up,
although one wire could possibly be tucked out of sight more...
I'd watch the Nickel plating like a hawk, what coolant you using btw? I hope its on EK's 'approved' list 😛
Great job man,
**Edit, praise is hard to get from me on the cables front, be proud**
Moto

man, you are one lil machine! huh?! nice workmanship with the cables and tubing in such a tight space!

* i'm another one of those folks who left EK high and dry cos of plating/flaking issues. So be wary of that nickel.
** temp wise, aint interested, though it does look neat.
*** build log thread and link here and the build log thread's thread
**** yeah, i'll watch that block like it was your child, that nickel will chip in a few weeks with distill +silver - at least that's what EK said in its official statement.

this is my first wc system and im still learning how to do a good one. ive heard that EK had some issues before but wasnt aware that they had such a big problem with the flaking. ill definitely watch out for that, thanks.

on a side note, i intend to do an x79 version of this build what a gtx 680 instead of 7970.
