Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card near the end of this month. I'm aware of the new cards at CES 2025 being announced and figured I'll wait to see what AMD/Nvidia offers before I make any purchase.

My current system is powered by a MSI 3060 12GB and I'm looking to upgrade to something substantial that will last at least 3+ years for futureproof. I am going to be upgrading my monitor to a 1440p 240-360hz display so this would have to be considered.

I use my PC for office work and gaming primarily. I usually play competitive games e.g Fortnite, Call of Duty. Office work is graphic design so using softwares like Photoshop is what I do each day for work.

My requirements would be:
- White card
- 16GB VRAM ideally
- £700 and under

I'd love a card with three fans but if there is two then it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Please could anyone recommend some cards for me to consider within my budget and availability within the UK. I'm open to both AMD and Nvidia, with Nvidia being the preferred as I have only previously used a 1060 and 3060.

My Build

Many thanks,
Lewis

Aim a bit higher and I'd go with 4070 to super

Zotac Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER white

https://www.awd-it.co.uk/zotac-nvid...utGTtdhqoeXHk1XJWd2obOyZCyV4FAIRoCdIoQAvD_BwE

This is probly the most efficient card your going to find while also giving you the longest life at 1440p with 16gb

I use a 4070 super which does fine at 135-165 no ray tracing.

On amds side which is bang on your budget
7900xt pure raster no raytracing or fancy eye candy.
