over the last 12 years ive had

2 evga gtx 460, one died and evga was very nice in replacing it, easiest RMA ive ever had
2 zotac gtx 480 amp edition
2 msi gtx 580 twin frozr ii
2 msi gtx 560 twin frozr ii
4 evga gtx 670 superclocked
4 evga gtx 780 ti classified
1 evga gtx 780 ti kingpin
1 evgs gtx 980 sc gaming
1 evga rtx 2080 ti ftw3 ultra

I guess you can call me a EVGA fanboy, my 2080 ti can run +150 on the core and +1700 on the memory while staying around 60*c on the stock cooler. But if i had to pick between those 3 brands i would take EVGA every time.

The MSI 580s where back when i water cooled but i probably went through 24 cards with newegg trying to find a matching pair that overclocked well together.

Any gpu is going to have an adequate cooler.
The 3080 class cards all use the same chips and will generate about the same amount of heat.
More if the card is factory overclocked.
Today, gpu coolers do a good job of extracting heat from the graphics chip.
But, they dump the heat into the case where case cooling has to deal with it.
Concentrate more on case cooling than the gpu coolers.

As to brands, I like the EVGA units. They have good USA based support.

You can have a good cooler, but choke it if you try hard enough and yield poor performance as a result. Therefore... ^^^
