Hey, at this point I'm afraid to ask but I'm gonna ask anyway:
I know that in PC, graphics card power consumption depends on application you are running, resolution, etc.
That makes me think that when using PS4 Pro with 1080p 60hz monitor, the power consumption in that case is less than in PS4...
This problem started a few months ago. My GPU is an RTX 2080 XC ULTRA, and my monitor is a BenQ XL2420TE (1080p, 144hz). A few months ago, my computer crashed, where the monitor turned off, but it sounded like the audio was still going (through the headphones), and it wouldn’t respond to me...
Hi,
I am looking for a good color accurate gaming monitor. I will run them at 144Hz only, with best possible color mode.
After searching for a bit, I am finally stuck in BenQ MOBIUZ EX2510S and MSI Optix G241.
Both monitors comfortably fits in my budget, but I am not sure about the panel...

If I have a 144hz refresh rate monitor, does it mean that I need to output 144 FPS in all of the games that I play in order to fully utilize and take advantage of the 144hz refresh rate? If the FPS I'm getting in all of my games are below 144 FPS does that mean that I am not able to take...

Looking for a 24" IPS panel that has 1080p, 144hz, 1ms, GSync or Freesync (no real preference), VESA mountable. Added features like motion blur reduction, eye care, blue light reduction etc. are nice but not a must have. What is gonna be my best option among these 4? Something else? Budget is...
Hi everyone,
I am currently using a 24 inch 1080p display (Samsung CRG50). And im keen on upgrading to 1440p, Im eyeing the Gigabyte G32QC which is 31.5 inch 1440p display.
I understand that a bump up to QHD would impact the FPS, but Im counting on my 2060 super to deliver 60fps on most games...
I’m looking at getting a new monitor. currently using a 1080p 27” 165hz 0.5ms tn panel and want to upgrade to 1440p, but I’m stuck between going for a 1440p 27” 155hz 1ms ips panel, or a 1440p 27” 155hz 0.4ms tn panel. So my question is should I go for the better colour or the 0.6ms of response...
Greetings Guys,
I am a 1080p gamer. My current rig is an i3 10100, GTX 1660 Super, 16gb 2666mhz & MSI G27C4(monitor).
So far my gaming experience is smooth at ultra settings though games like Far Cry 5 won't go above 80 fps(Probably someone here could say why so and how to improve this...
As the title states, is this system suitable for 1080p gaming these days? Refresh rate would be 75Hz
Also, anyone know a rough resale price for this system?

It's a weird question, I know. I have a Dell IN2020M monitor and ever since I bought it I had connected it to my GPU using VGA through a VGA-to-DVI converter that I had gotten with an XFX GPU. The monitor's specs show that its maximum resolution is 1600x900. Now, yesterday I bought a VGA-to-HDMI...
Hello, its my first time posting here. Ive recently bought a prebuilt pc, with a used gpu. So lets say I have 65 degrees C on average - gpu and 50 degrees - cpu (ryzen5 1600) in Metro Exodus on medium settings in 1280x1024 resolution. If I upgrade to 1980x1080 resolution, would the average...
So I turned off HDR in display settings on windows and went to SDR since someone said SDR is better for gaming and SDR has less input lag, plus produces more Frames per second.
Can anyone confirm this and maybe give me some details in regards to speed and performance between the two?
My...
I found a 27-inch 1080p (180$) and a 23-inch 2k monitor (250$) as the link below

When playing games with my rx 6800xt I've noticed that my gpu is not being fully utilized. I was playing Minecraft and I couldn't push past 100fps at 1080p. Usage was spiking. Staying as low as 6% spiking to around 30-40%. But its constantly spiking. It also does this for many other games that...
I've been using a 1080p 60hz monitor but I wanted a second monitor (which ill use as my main when I get it). I found a good 1080p 144hz 1ms adaptive sync monitor. A friend of mine told me that I would need a DisplayPort to display 144hz. on my current 60hz monitor I use a regular HDMI cable...
Actually I know the answer but wanted to ask some other things too under this question.
As I know, it is going to bottleneck. I don't mind to change my monitor in the next few years so 1080p would go on. In this case, buying a 3060 Ti would be an overkill, also means waste of money. On the...
Most people do gaming at 1080p, also Steam surveys confirms that 65% of gamers do it on 1080p.
But marketing says 1080p is not mainstream anymore because nowdays there's 1440p and 4K as the new standard.
Even new hardware, new games (especially AAA), benchmarks, and reviews focuses a little bit...
I recently swapped from an Asus 24" VG248QE gaming monitor which is 144hz 1080p display. I've had no problems with it for about 4-5 years that i've had it and some white horizontal lines appeared after a while and so I decided to buy a new one.
The monitor i've bought is a DELL S2721GHF 1080p...
So I picked up an RTX 3070FE and was wondering if I should upgrade my CPU or monitor first for Christmas. The other one will be upgraded eventually, but I am trying to figure out which one is more pressing. I currently have a Ryzen 5 2600 and a 1080p 144hz G-Sync monitor. If I were to upgrade...
Hello there, I currently stream at (Very Fast Preset, 6700 Bitrate, CBR, High Profile, 720p Output) using the Ryzen 2600 and I struggle to stream games without getting a huge limit in FPS, (ex. In Overwatch I get about 200+ FPS on Medium Settings, but when streaming I drop to 80-120 FPS). Which...

I currently have an Asus VX228H 21.5" FullHD (1080p) 60Hz monitor and for some reason I feel eye strain when using it after about 20 minutes.
Don't know the main reason but I guess many of these should be:
View distance, (30 inches from eyes to monitor) sometimes I must get closer to see small...
I got my new PC just last month, and will upgrade my monitor from 32"HDTV 60Hz to a 24" HKC-MB24V1 75Hz 1080p soon, I only play at 1080p and my current RX 470 can no longer give me a stable 60Fps, particularly on Remnant from the Ashes, almost 99% I get 47fps on highest settings, and I really...
I am going to buy a new monitor as my old 1080p S27A950D has failed after 8 years using it. I am considering buying a 4k monitor (27" or 32"), something not high-end but "fairly decent" (such as the EW3270U or 326M6VJRMB or 27UL850 or something similar). My use will be mixed: gaming, video...
So currently, I am running my PC with Intel Core i5 10600 with integrated graphic chip.
I am planning to buy RTX 3070 later on October. Do you think it will be way too much for my 1080p monitor?
My knowledge is that if I am buying an overkill GPU for my 1080p monitor, it will be overkill for...
I need a new laptop for school. My old one's keyboard broke and it's more than $100 to repair, and at this point it's so old (and an HP) I'd rather just get a new one. My budget is around $700-$600. I need it to be able to run some coding programs, word writing, and maybe something like...
I am building a PC with the below specs and i need suggestions in getting a perfect monitor for the below specs. I am looking for an IPS panel with Refresh rate more than 75Hz atleast.

Hey there!
Just a quick question but I was wondering if anyone had any experience having a second monitor that was 27 inches with a resolution of 1080p.
My current, main, monitor is 27" and 2560x1440. They would both have the same refresh rate.
I'm aware of the scaling differences and the...
I very recently purchased a used Zotac GTX 1070 Mini off of Ebay from a seller with a good rating, high positive feedback etc., and it's performing well, though this is my problem:
The computer boots into Windows fine. Drivers are up to date (just updated to 451.67) and visuals/video output is...
Hello guys,
I am considering buying 1080p 144Hz monitor to replace my old 60Hz monitor. I have a i7 4790K overclocked to 4.6GHz and a RTX 2060.
Is that enough for 1080p 144Hz monitor to run games such as CSGO, COD Warzone, Forza Horizon, F1 2019...
Cheers
I am thinking about upgrading from my ASUS GTX 1070 Dual to an RTX 2070 Super.
After recently improving my aftermarket CPU cooler, I am now able to run demanding games comfortably at 5Ghz with my current setup. I just feel that the GTX 1070 is starting to struggle with certain newer games...
Hey,
Due to covid I can’t go to a shop and check it myself. Both monitors are 144hz+ and I’ve got a 1080ti so I’m sure I can run 1440p. I could not find a clear answer on the internet and have been contemplating for ages
Thanks
