Yeah but what is your budget and what will you be using your pc for? Because I'm pretty sure you don't need that 8c/16thread cpu.Hi, Is the 2700x with 1660 super gaming x a good combo?
Thanks in advance
Thank you for your reply. I took that into account, but in youtube videos it look's like the 2700x performs better in games that the 3600.It would be a good combo for 1080P gaming.
If you don't have the parts yet though I'd change the CPU over to the Ryzen 3600 which performs better for gaming (2700X would be better for editing).
I've got a pcpartpicker list that equates to 1.1k but I don't think I'm going to be pushing the CPU that far. Just for games that need power and editing.Yeah but what is your budget and what will you be using your pc for? Because I'm pretty sure you don't need that 8c/16thread cpu.
Maybe in streaming games but for just gaming the 3600 should be the better performing CPU due to the increased performance per core.Thank you for your reply. I took that into account, but in youtube videos it look's like the 2700x performs better in games that the 3600.
So which ryzen cpu would you recommend if I wanted to game and edit.Maybe in streaming games but for just gaming the 3600 should be the better performing CPU due to the increased performance per core.

You really can't go wrong with either but if your video editing then grab the 2700X for the additional cores/threads as that will help with the editing. So which ryzen cpu would you recommend if I wanted to game and edit.
