R5 2600x, XFX Rx 570 4gb, 16gb ram, Grey Label Corsair Vs 550w (£516)

Vs

R5 1600, Saphire Pulse Rx 580 8gb, 8gb ram, 2017 CX550 (£508)

Both are in my price point. Might be able to wiggle ram up abit but would have to sacrifice speed. Thoughts? Also there's no more wiggle in my budget atm! So I can't afford to go high before any suggest. Thanks for any replys. Play Heavily modded mc, civ 6, euro truck, battlefield 4 and Crusader King II.

Sorry, kept forgetting!
No problem.

I suggest using this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Processeur...en+5+1600AF&qid=1582847620&s=computers&sr=1-2 instead of the 1600 in your first list. The 1600AF is basically the same as a 2600 in terms of performance (review:

Here is my edited version of your first list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/n9VYf9
I replaced the case with a much better one which costs just a bit more, and downgraded the PSU to 450W to make up for it (The system will run just as well on 450W).
So I'd actually suggest this list over the other one. I...

That's what I was thinking too. CK2 is as well. So I guess the first list, as long as you don't mind sacrificing a bit in euro truck or BF4. Also, are these prebuilts or custom build lists?
Building myself. But on a strict budget because my rent kills me. Max I'm looking to spend is £500-520, 1080p ultra on euro truck I saw was around 70 lows on it in big cities. But BF4 is abit older and probably wouldn't mind a older gpu?

Probably. I'd say go for the first list. But can you link a pcpartpicker list with everything you are planning on getting in it?

So I'd actually suggest this list over the other one. I also suggest spending more and using the 16Gb kit you included in the other list, but if you can't afford it, it's perfectly understandable.

Ok
I already have my crap case. (CiT Dark Star) had buyers remorse after that. But I'll upgrade it later on in the year.

Thoughts on a that build with a 570 and 16gb ram that would allow me to spend more to get powerline ethernet and I could maybe get a vega 56/Rx 590 or 1660 Super later in the year.

If you already have a case that can fit the board, here's my edited list again: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/MXgLp8 You could replace the 580 with a 570 to save a bit of money. You could also get the 570 or 580 used.

Seems good. Might get the 570 like I said to spend more on essentials. Just see what offers are on and what warehouse has like new. I think that my 50 that I save on my 570 vs 580 would be better spent on ethernet and 550w psu for fans. Thoughts?

A bigger PSU isn't needed for fans, those draw like 1.5W each, and your system is way below 450W anyways. But saving the extra for better internet and contributing to funds for future upgrades is a good idea.
