Good day,
I have no clue if this is the right sub forum to post this question, but it's related to consumer electronics so here goes. I'm hoping to upgrade my car's factory speakers, I currently have these in mind: https://pioneer-mea.com/en/products/ts-a1687s/. I already upgraded my car's head unit to this: https://www.pioneer.com.au/shop/car/audio-receivers/digital-media-receivers/mvh-s215bt/.

I'm not really well versed when it comes to reading and understanding audio specs, so I'm hoping you people here can enlighten me on this one. Based from the specs of my head unit, can it run the speakers I'm hoping to upgrade to without any hiccups? Or is an external amp really a necessity? I don't play music loudly, but I'd prefer this thing to be "one and done", just use the speakers without any worries.

So I need an external amp?
