Whenever my taskbar goes down and disappears, as it goes down there is a small but very noticeable and annoying gap between the bottom of the taskbar and the bottom of my screen, what is is and how can i fix it?

Also, make sure the device drivers for your graphics card (if you have one) or on-board graphics (e.g., AMD Radeon R7) are up to date if unlocking the taskbar doesn't fix it.

This does appear to be a screen painting issue.

This does appear to be a screen painting issue.

Graphics card drivers are up to date. I have two monitors and using an RX 550 if that helps anything. But this never happened before

As you c an see in the above image, there is a strange gap between the bottom of my taskbar and the bottom of my screen

I have two monitors and it occurs on both of them. I have done a clean reset and nothing has changed.

I have a:
RX 550 Radeon Graphics
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
