Hi Fellow Pc Enthusiasts

I have a faulty zotac gtx 1070 mini that doesn't boot for some reason. After putting it into my system and plugging in the display port, the monitor's led shows green but the system can't boot whenever I press the power button. Anyone has any ideas how to fix?

I'm pretty sure my psu is alright because it's powering my new rtx 3070 with no issues.
I tried taking out the cmos battery too and it doesn't work.
Tried using dp and hdmi doesn't work.

No of course not running both at the same time. I just meant that my system runs with rtx 3070 with no issues while running with my gtx 1070 it doesn't boot. Something is clearly wrong with the gpu since other gpu works?

MB: Msi B450 Tomahawk max
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: ZOTAC GTX 1070mini
Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16Gb
PSU: Cooler master masterwatt 650Watt 80+ Gold

Have you checked the actual GPU? Making sure thermal paste is properly applied, drivers are up to date, checking for problems on the PCB (damaged capacitors etc). You should probably check the GPU if it is straight-up not booting. It is unlikely a system problem if your system is not booting with the card.
