Hi all,

I recently purchased the Phillips X2HRs from Amazon. They sound great and the experience is fine as is but for games, some music, and even discord is a lot quieter than it was on my Corsair Void headset. I've tried reinstalling the audio drivers, fussing with the audio enhancements, etc. but nothing seems to be able to give me any more volume. I'm running off of the onboard audio from the MSI B350M Gaming Pro and I suspect it is not getting enough power to boost the volume, but I'd hate to pick up a sound card or DAC just to have the same problem. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, especially since I know very little about the audio side of things.

Thanks!

Adding an amp or a dac/amp shoujd do it. Those things are not hard to drive thought, but in general if you got new headphones and they are not as loud as you like them, add amp.
