Not sure under which forum to post this so its here. Im having issues with my microphone being pretty quiet 90% of the time but sometimes it randomly goes extremely loud. I can replicate the problem a 100% of the time by muting on the headset and unmuting. The headset is Razer kraken 3.5mm version, and it has already been RMAd so i dont think its the problem.
MOBO and CPU:
Gigabyte AX370 Gaming K5
AMD Ryzen 5 1600

Have you tried cleaning the connections
yup, same thing.
also already tried various realtek driver versions, tried a different splitter cable since this headset comes with one for its combo jack, tried the headset without the splitter on my dads phone and it worked there but it was really quiet altough id did not become extremely loud when umnuting
