I have looked at it and found it silly, not the kind of thing you want on something you actually use.
Metro is a phone based interface, not intended for desktops.
If you use three or four programs, it might work, not for me but for a small segment.
I still use XP for the simple reason that pinning doesn't work for me.
I personally hate, despise and lots of other strong words the whole idea of pinning, but if it works foryo u, please feel free to use and enjoy it.
I like the start menu, I use XP with ALL the guilding turned off.
Windows classic all the way, they got the menus right in ME, and the options for them right in XP.
The only reason I can see to foist this drivel on the users is to force a constant upgrade cycle.
Almost everyone I know uses XP with all the bells and whistles turned off.
Null theme with the simplest menus possible, no sorting of task windows, or grouping of anything.
I am simply waiting until ReactOs is ready, then dropping MS the rest of the way.
