Question Motherboard powers on then immediately off

I have attached a video of what is happening. But essentially, everything is being powered when i plug in the psu except the motherboard, which flashes for a brief moment. This is a brand new psu and motherboard.

its strange gpu get power but cpu dont check again all connectors be sure u connect all good...try with only one stick ram make video with whole board...did u connect 8pin for cpu?

I reconnected everything and used just 1 stick of ram, and the problem is still the same.

do u try boot without gpu?

Yea i just took it out and the problem seems to keep happening

First what power supply are you using? A full list of system specs would be helpful.

Did you build it outside the case using an anti-static mat or wristband? If not the static may have zapped your board.... carpet holds loads of static....

Did you remove the battery for 10-15mins to clear CMOS?

Just some food for thought.

I listed all my specs. I did ground myself, static mats or wristbands really arent too neccessary for the modern day pc components. I will try clearing cmos

i know maybe mobo have problem...if u install cpu correctly...everything looks fine but dont work...

RMA then, but while many modern PC parts are fitted with caps against ESD it is still possible to kill component with it. Good prctice is to ground yourself no matter what you are working on in my opinion.

I dont think the mobo has a problem because this was the problem with my last mobo. I got a new one bc it was having the same issue. This is the new one.

No lights stay on when powering the mobo.
