[SOLVED] New CPU and Motherboard booted fine then won't boot after restart

Hello

I've just installed a Ryzen 5 5600x onto a B550 A-PRO mobo, it booted fine the first time, however after shutting down and rebooting it won't boot. The CPU LED is illuminated on the board. Not sure what is going on here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I imagine you need to update the BIOS on your motherboard to run a 5000 series cpu,(unless it said '5000 series ready' on the box?) Luckily your motherboard has BIOS flashback, so you need to go to your motherboards website, look under support and see what version BIOS you need to run the 5600X, download it onto a usb and then update the BIOS. If it is something you have never done before, read/watch videos etc on how to do it and when you are 100% comfortable with the procedure, go ahead and update your BIOS.

Turns out it was the PSU, this was my brothers build who has a 500w PSU, I changed it for a 750w and everything seems okay for now!
