The motherboard is compatible with a bios update, it is unlikely that the bios has been updated unless there is a sticker stating otherwise, however. I don't see any documentation stating that the board can do cpu-less flashing, so you will need either the vendor to update the bios or by getting an older am4 chip to update it.

I do recommend avoiding only using 1 stick of ram and instead using a 2x4gb or 2x8gb arrangement.
You will also need to buy a graphics card because the motherboard has no graphics capability and neither does the Ryzen CPU you have chosen.

My bad.
I do have a Graphics Card as well, I just forgot to add it in the thread. I have updated the original thread with the Graphics Card details as well. Please acknowledge...

Thank You for the reply...

Yes I will be using 2x8gb of RAM. Maybe I will go for the MSI B450M Pro mobo. So I don't know if the bios problem will still persist in the MSI one.

I also have a query regarding the PSU that I am going to use. Is the PSU good enough for this build?

I don't think the msi b450m pro has a bios flashback function. People have put together lists of boards with flashback like this .

I'd suggest going for a better psu, that one states that its peak wattage is 500w....but doesn't state it's standard wattage. That and it appears to be a low quality psu. At the minimum you should be looking at a corsair cx series(black and grey label). Avoid any corsair that has orange labels, they are the older inferior models.

If you're really in a pinch, the corsair vs and antec vp could work, but they are quite ill suited for gaming and are mostly budget office machine psu's.
