I've got a new build with an RTX 2080 Ti and I'm wondering if I should get a 3440x1440 120Hz Ultrawide monitor or a 4K 144Hz to take out the full potential of my 2080 Ti
It is for gaming, I play all kinds of games like the new Modern Warfare, Hearthstone, and I'll want to play upcoming games like Cyberpunk and others.
Doing lots of research I've got in mind these two monitors which both seem great:
-The Ultrawide is the LG 34GK950G-W https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-34GK950G-B-gaming-monitor
-The 4k 144Hz is the Acer Nitro XV273K https://www.acer.com/ac/en/AU/content/model/UM.HX3SA.P02
The price tag difference in my country is of 50€ so I don't care about spending 50€ more or less for one or the other.
I know that in most modern demanding games I wouldn't achieve 144 fps at 4K in Ultra but playing at 4K Ultra at above 60 fps would be great for my anyway.
I've never had an ultrawide before but I've read that lots of people love them for gaming.
