Hello Everyone

the title is pretty much self-explanatory. I need to get a new GPU and prefer not to shell out a large amount of money for a GPU that would eventually fail before being fully utilized. I'm gaming on 3x 1080p monitors at the moment.

One other thing I need to take into consideration is that I might be getting a 4K TV in the future to connect to my PC. I would use the 3 monitors for PC gaming whereas I would use the TV for entertainment (and the occasional couch gaming) but never altogether at the same time.

Essentially: Best GPU for 5760x1080 and/or 4K

looking for the best bang for my buck.

Conditions: NVidia only

Bonus Question: Is there a way to turn of certain displays so that power would be diverted to other displays? (in the case of turning off my 3 monitors so that i can comfortably game on my 4K TV)

Solution
Tough call, I'd say.
You're pushing pixel count that doesn't really scream bang for buck.
4K = 8,294,400 pixels
2K Ultrawide = 4,953,600 pixels
1080p x3 = 6,220,800 pixels

The only gpu that sorta fits is the 2070 Super. It's capable of 4K 60fps on low settings in a number of titles. A few games are possible on medium.
Past that, and 4K 60 isn't sustainable.
