[SOLVED] Help in building AMD Ryzen 7 computer set

Hi Tom's Hardware!

I'm going to upgrade my PC from intel (i5-4570) so I don't have enough knowledge when it comes to AMD (not planning to overclock), so for the questions:

1. Is this build good enough? just playing Valorant, and future RPG games? (but I'm more on FPS game so yeah)
2. Can my PSU handle the load for this build?
3. Any suggestions?

NOTE: I already have the GPU and PSU

CPU	Ryzen 7 - 3700X
MOBO	MSI MAG B550M Bazooka (AM4) B550, mATX, 4*ddr4
RAM	16gb ddr4 3200 Kingston Fury black (2x8GB)
HDD/SSD	250gb Samsung 970 EVO PLUS SSD M.2 NVMe + 1TB HDD
PSU	Seasonic Focus GX gold 650watts
GPU	Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB G1 Gaming

those parts will work fine together. psu is quality and plenty strong enough for those parts.

i would look into more storage though as games are getting rather large and 250 gb is gonna fill up rather quickly for most people. a nice big spinning hdd for basic data storage like pics and videos would work great. and down the line you can always go bigger ssd as prices come down.

Yes sorry for not inserting about the HDD for storage, but will do that, uhm about the performance it is still good? or should I wait for Ryzen 5000 series?

Given that graphics card's performance, the 3700x is more than enough.

Not sure where you live but you can get double the M.2 space for less in the US.

Double the storage, I believe is what they meant. Samsung is good, but overpriced. You can often get 500gb drives for prices similar to what they charge for 250g.

Yeah I think that too, I have an other option which is 500gb Kingston A2000 SSD M.2 NVMe (25% less price) is this a good SSD?

By this the same thing their the WD 500GB cost less.
It's a good drive same one I use.

i have a 3700x and freaking love it. though i don't game much so i only have a 1650 super gpu.

i use all those cores/threads on virtual machines along with 32 gb of ram i run with it.
