Question PC won't switch on | ASUS z-170a | PWR SW blinking (HELP NEEDED)

Hello, I woke up one morning to find my PC not turning on, I suspected it was the PSU as the computer was receiving no power. After receiving a replacement PSU the system still doesn't even budge to turn on, none of the fans responsive, no bios or post, just the blinking PWR button on the mobo.

Any help what so ever would be appreciated

I think I have, it's an ASUS z170-a, i don't think it has a button or switch for it, so I took out the battery and shorted the circuit using the battery. Any advice?

disconnect the power take the battery out and leave it for a while and how much ram do you have.

I've done that. Nothing. 2x8GB @ 3200

that happened to me as well but it was the bios in my case. check if all the cables are hooked up correctly once again.

I've rebuilt the system outside of the case. Still nothing, the PWR button light blinks green when PSU is switched on by switch, and carries on blinking every 6 seconds.
