Build Advice PC won't turn on properly - NEED HELP

I tried building a pc for the first time. When I press the power on button on the case the fans spin for a second, my phone can charge through the usb for a second and so forth. I know the motherboard is receiving power because the RAM will light up. The three pin PSU cable that came with the PSU is different to the one i'm using now because the one was for a European plug. Will that change anything? I have already moved RAM around.

I tried unplugging they CPU power cable and it still did the jitter of fans and the lighting of my case also flickers on.

I'm not sure if this is correct but currently i've got it set up like this:
Due to it being an NZXT h400i it is a smart case, the fans wires are being attached to the three pin connectors which is goes to the NZXT control hub. The PSU female four pin connector is connected to the motherboard.

I see no header on board for that, or am I wrong? You were supposed to connect the case SATA or molex to power supply, in order to power the control hub.

By PSU female four pin connector you mean the control hub 4 pin FAN connector that would control the fans speed?

The first image is SATA to NZXT hub, Second is the Fan hub connector to the fan fire and the last is a four pin connector in the motherboard.

You're welcome. I checked the case manual. I think that you connected the case LED wire wrongly. Try connecting it to CPU cooler LED strip/RGB LED strip header on board. Take care to the pinout.

No, I am not getting signal due to the IO panel on the motherboard and the front panel is not being picked up.

Is the graphics card installed? If yes, you have to connect the monitor to it, not to motherboard.

The GPU was installed but then taken out again could that change anything?

The computer would not post even when GPU was in and connected to display, everything seems fine when turned on.

Hello,
I am building my first computer and when I hit the power button on the case, PSU, GPU and CPU fans, as well as the light strips, motherboard and GPU LEDs all turn on and work fine. A monitor is currently coming so I am using a TV to post. I am using HDMI from my graphics card. Is that OKAY or do I need to use VGA or DVI?

I suggest waiting for the monitor. The tv might not support low resolutions and therefore no signal.
