Hello everyone, my current cpu is a ryzen 5 1600x and my gpu is a gigabyte rtx 2080 gaming oc. I mostly play insurgency sandstorm at 1440p. Framerate is decent enough averaging at around 90-100 fps, but I get dips to the 50's and inconsistent frametimes leaving it pretty stuttery. My gpu usage...
So my current Setup is:
i7 6700
8 GB DDR3 RAM (getting 16 soon)
GTX 1070
Asus H110M-K Motherboard.
I have a 1440p 165 HZ Monitor. But I cant really get that 144-165 fps on many games. MSi Afterburner shows both my CPU AND GPU to be around 70 -80% so I'm not sure what the bottleneck here is...
So, I have noticed that some games that I play scratch up a bit at hard parts to handle (the framerate will temporarily go to like 20-40 FPS). Examples are Spiral Knights, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood , Minecraft+mods. During those periods of scratch (not good performance), when I look at Task...
I already have a PC with a r5 3600 and GTX1060, looking to upgrade, should I get a 2070 Super or 2080 or 2080ti, will the 3600 be a problem for any of those? (bottleneck wise) I'll be playing games such as Rainbow Six: Siege, CoD MW, Satisfactory, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Apex Legends...
I have an i5-3550 and when im playing games, its always bottlenecking. My friend has a worse cpu and worse card and he can run fortnite at 4k all ultra smoothly while i can only run 1440p at high settings and its still choppy. If theres a way to troubleshoot, Id love the help.

Radeon r9 fury
8gb ddr3 1866oc ram. PNY brand
Asus m5a78l-m lx plus
Win 10 up to date.
500gb wd ssd.
I'm trying to play skyrim SE and am only able to get around 30fps outside, while interiors run at 60fps. More action drops my frame rate into the teens.
Could this be caused by...

My set up consists mainly of 16 GB of DDR3 RAM, 1xGEFORCE GTX 1080ti and a i5-3570k overclocked at 4GHz.
When I play RDR2 on the lowest graphic presets, there times where the CPU reaches 100% in all four cores and the game gets stuck for a while (2-5 secs), this happens more or less randomly...
Hello, My very old I5-750 bottleneck my gtx 970. When I play forza horizon 4 my cpu utilization is 80%-100% and my gpu is only 65%. I would like to upgrade my system to remove the bottleneck. What would be a good cpu for this?
I would need a cpu + motherboard or cpu + motherboard + ram. It all...
Hello everyone,
Sorry for my english, starting from there :kikou:
I run an R5 3600 in the mobo Asus ROG B450-E (I know it's kinda strange to OC in this chipset) so. I have it clocked at 4.225Ghz at 1.45V, and i will ask to you guys, if it is too much, if its okay, or could be lower.
Temps are...
Hi guys! I've recently bought a few components for my desktop PC (new motherboard, CPU and RAM sticks) but I've experiencing some issues. Since I installed them I get mini freezes, generally while mid/high PC usage, I've tested a few things. I still can't find out which part is the problem. I'm...
Hello there, so for the black Friday I was thinking about upgrading my gpu from an sapphire rx 480 8gb oc to an aorus rtx 2070 because the graphics quality on rx 480 is not that good anymore, but I don't know for sure if the 2070 will bottleneck combining it with my I5 7600k, personally I think...
Hello!
I am trying to choose a suitable intel 1150 processor to upgrade my trusty old rig with, and I am not sure what the best course of action is for my situation.
I put the PC together myself so I do know a bit about hardware, but I am a layman and my insight is limited.
The point of the...
I started getting into pc's 2 years ago and gaming. I had a pc with an fx4300 and a Gt710. I decided to upgrade it to a Gtx1050 2nd because most of the cards would get bottlenecked. It is still decent though and can pull games but with money to spare, I'm going to get a ryzen 5 2600, B450 and...
Hi there,
I've been having issues since the day i've put in a new GPU. I've done a clean install with DDU and still didn't fix.
I'm having issues getting higher than 120 fps in cs:go, i go from 90-140 fps on Apex Legends. i'm wondering if i need to upgrade my CPU due to bottleneck issues or...
So yeah I never made a pc before myself, I was wondering if this would work together

Thaaanks
Edit: since i live in belgium(europe) i'm limited to a few sites including; coolblue.be and bol.com
I checked on an online calculator and it looks like there should be a bottleneck because the GPU is too weak for that CPU, though I'm not sure if that calculator is something to rely on..
any ideas?
Hey guys! First time posting cause I need your help.
A few weeks ago I was able to buy a new RTX2080 Ti for a good price. After the upgrade I noticed just a small performance boost.
Since then I'm troubleshooting. This is my current setup:
ASUS ROG Z270F with an i7-7700K (not OC)

My question is, TUF505DU-EB74 , runs a R7-3750H , and a GTX1660ti mobile. So, does this laptop bottleneck? if so, are there any other laptops, that are in the same price range ( 900 - 1100 $) That can do a better performance?
hello guys
I have a RX 470 asus 4gb on my pc, 8gbram and an i5 2400, i switched from a EVGA gtx 770 2gb to the RX and now i feel games look way worse, i calculated on Bottleneck calculator and it says i have a 20% bottleneck, may be that the reason? or it's just that the 770 is better than...

I am currently trying to help my friend spec out a pc for about £900 (a little room for movement.) This is the build i have come up with (some things are unneccasary such as nice case, nice cpu cooler). He wants trusted brands (Such as cooler master, corsair, MSI,etc). Could I just check if the...
I have an rtx 2080 ti and an Intel i7 4790. The bottleneck calculators say it is being bottlenecked to a 40 % but is that actually true? I mean, as long as the cpu is over the recommended specs of x program it shouldn't affect fps that much, right? Or is my system being SERIOUSLY (not only a few...
Hi

About 6 months ago I got a gtx 1050ti so I installed it but I noticed in Fortnite I got constant stuttering that was really bad until the cpu got used to it. I have it set to turbo at 3.8 GHz. Then I bought Battlefield 5 and put it on low settings to see how it ran. It ran at 75 fps quite good...
My PC is not anything super powerful but it is much much slower than it should be when opening programs or powering on and seems to also not be performing as it should when gaming. I'm pretty sure it's a either under powered RAM or a slow HDD. When I look in task manager my disk usage maxes out...
A few days ago after waking my PC from sleep, upon entering into anything gaming or video related, my CPU usage immediately shoots to 100% regardless of settings and my GPU usage doesn't go above 10%.
In games where I before held a stable frame-rate at 120 fps or higher (usually 144), I now...
Im about to upgrade my System, and am worried that I may get some bottlenecking due to the overuse of PCIE lanes. I'm not too knowledgeable in this area so it may not even become an issue. Will this system be likely to encounter any such problem, if so how can I reduce it?
OS: Windows 10
