Hey there, everyone. I don't know if there's any sort of solution to this that I'm not seeing and would greatly appreciate the help or any sort of advice in helping to understand what's going on.
I recently purchased an Antec P101 Silent case because I was wanting to quiet down my air-cooled PC...
Ive been using an old pc for quite some time.Im not much of a gamer so it wasn't a problem for me.I would use FL Studio and other virtual instruments frequently.
Not long ago,my old cpu AMD Athlon x2 250 has died,it was an old and incredibly bad cpu.

Hello all!
I had a question regarding more typical motherboards on the market. I see most usually indicate the temperatures they can get up to before having trouble, but I wanted some slightly more in depth information.
I'm looking for a commercially available motherboard that can operate in...
A few months ago I built a PC with a GA Z390 Designare motherboard. Everything works but I remember that due to the components on the motherboard, the graphics card did not fit in the slots so I had to buy a PCi extender, plug that into the motherboard on one side and the GPU on the other and...
Hi everyone,
I've had this prebuilt for about 4 years now and finally decided to start upgrading pieces. The components are an i7-7700k processor on an Asus tuf z270 mk2 mobo. It has a pretty bad 600-watt PSU that I'm soon replacing and an EVGA Geforce gtx 2060 6gb (mini) that I'm also soon...
Hello everyone!
First of all, sorry, if I posted this in wrong category.
I'm using Dell Inspiron 7577 laptop with i5-7300HQ and GeForce GTX 1050Ti. After almost 2 years of usage, I decided to upgrade my memory (both, RAM and disk). Now it's running with 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB HDD (stock) and 512 GB...
Hey there,
I have an Asus ROG Strix GL703 laptop that gets really high temps and so out of option at this point. If anyone can give me some pointers on what else I could do to make it better, that'd be so great.
Config: i7 7700HQ // GTX 1060 // 16 GB RAM // 128 GB SSD / 1 TB HDD // 120hz - 17"...
Well guys I messed up and jumped on a quick deal with Newegg for a 9700k ASRock Z390M pro 4 motherboard combo without doing any research. I knew the board was low end and is only meant to hold me over a few months until I buy a high end board but I had no idea the VRM heatsink was so terrible...
Hey everyone, so i bought an hp omen laptop, with a rtx 2070 and 8750H cpu. It worked wonderfully when i was in california, running games like gears 5 maxed out and only hitting about 75C, it was perfect. Now i have recently moved to germany for a year, and have found that whenever i launch any...
I currently have an i5 6600k cpu with a Cooler master hyper 212 evo heat sink. I am considering upgrading to an i7 9700k cpu. I get that when over clocking a lot I would want to consider something better probably, but by default, will it be much hotter than the previous one?
I'm wondering if you can install heat spreaders on every memory stick, do all of they support this feature or only some kinds? I am using 2 sticks of Corsair Value (CMV4GX4M1A2133C15). I can buy 2 heat spreaders online.

Hi,
My question is pretty much what you read above.
Since I've been PC gaming I've always used a 32" Sony 1080p HDTV (using an HDMI cable). Most games I play will run at a really nice temperature, most recently I've played games like Batman Arkham Knight for instance around the late 50's...
Hi, everyone.
Recently my computer has been restarting after 50 ~ 60 minutes while I'm playing some games (BF4). Ps.: This issue doesn't happen in Rainbow Six.
My PC turns off and then turns on again.
I don't know what is the cause of this issue, since GPU and CPU temps are no more than 70ºC...
Hello, I am kinda still new in all PC buidling.
My cpu has high core temps and all other programs core temps, nzxt's program show low temps... This is a photograph of pc once booted with zero to no stress on processor. While gaming the temperature of cores get up to 100C, while othed programs...
Earlier today i followed a guide trying to hit 5.0 ghz with the vcore set to 1.30. I BSOD'ed when trying to load into a game from the menu in BFV, so i restarted and tried 1.35 instead. I loaded in to the game and everything seemed perfect, but when i checked the temps they were really high.
So...
Hello!
So I bought a new laptop for college, and I ended up paying a bit more to get a gaming one.
It's the HP Omen 15-dc1621nd, couple of months old. It has a Core i5-9300H, a hyperthreaded 4 core, and an RTX 2060.
It also really likes to turbo boost itself to 4GHz all the way up to 95C, on...
Hey y’all. Just got a 1660 Oc 6GB in my wife’s rig. On gaming a full load I’m seeing temps into 71/73 celsius mark, and that’s only like 30/40 minutes.
Anyone have a suggestion for fan curve or something I can do to combat the heat?
Is it normal for the card to run this warm? Everywhere I look...
Hi
I noticed that running some applications, games and the like with a borderless Windowed function is causing the CPU to automatically switch from the power plan I'm using to a uncustomizable high performance mode plan.
Examples: full screen in microsoft photos and games like hollow knight...
Last night Windows pushed through a BIOS update to my ASUS GL703GM. I have checked the ASUS site, and it is a legitimate BIOS version. Today though, after the update, my laptop is idling 10 degrees hotter, and I can now physically feel the heat coming through the top of the laptop when typing...
Hi, so I have an RX 570 Pulse ITX card which works around 70-74c. However, when it goes higher than 71 the Core Clock starts to use less mhz like 1200, 1160 etc.. And it's really annoying that I can see the performance hit because of this, when I play a game (Like Apex Legends etc.) it goes down...
So im really getting worried about my PC its core says to be hitting about 102°C and my CPU temp still stays at 60°C when i undo the heatsink to check what's with CPU it wasn't that hot as reported by Core temp so the thing is im.not really getting why core temp is giving so diff value than CPU...
Hi guys I'm at my wits end I'm hoping you clever people can help me I have a Nvidia GTX 1080 ti which has a fault. Happily using the card every other day for the past year light gaming no issues. Then I had a problem of the display cutting out and the fans going to 100%

I'd like to start by saying this is probably a really stupid question, but I'd appreciate any help I can get.
I'm having issues with feeling the heat from my PC. I've done simply diagnostic tests? like CoreTemp app and Afterburner to check temp of GPU And CPU and they are well within normal...
The problem is when I game, between 30 minutes and 2 hours into gaming, I start getting really laggy.
(Checked memory and cpu usage they are under 30% so not really a memory issue)
I feel this is a heat issue but cannot decipher if it is the case due to different readings from 3 different temp...
So, I just bought a WD RE3 1TB for my rig (yes it's enterprise, but was cheap and works perfectly fine). But I'm curious if these temps are good or do I need to take some action:
When idle: 45 C/113 F
Under load for 30 minutes straight: 50 C/ 122 F
Room temperature is 30 C/ 86 F.
Thanks in...
I understand that axial fans can keep a card cooler and quieter whilst achieving higher clock speeds, but the axial fans used on cards like strix and windforce cards are massive in terms of width and height, and there are always 2 or 3 instead of just 1 so it isn't really fair.
I am wondering...
As the title says, I am getting 45C idle temps on my Ryzen 7 3700X with a Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi cooler (according to CoreTemp and CAM). What should I do?
I haven't tried reapplying thermal paste yet but I doubt that would cause a 10 - 20C drop.
So i bought the msi gs75 laptop about 10 days ago, i've noticed that the temps in this laptop are absurdly high. On startup i sometimes get cpu temps over 90 degrees. After a few minutes it calms down at sits between 50 and 70 on idle. Before i bought this laptop i did some research on the heat...
I have a Deepcool Tessaract case, Asrock AB350 Gaming motherboard, AMD Ryzen 1500X CPU, and MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC GPU. What is the best water cooler to use for both my CPU and GPU?
