In the market for a laptop that performs well, not too thick, and ensures durability from the $500-$600 price point.. Would be using the laptop everyday, at least 256gb ssd or 500gb+ if not ssd. Need to buy the laptop by today July 31, 2019. Thank you!

reposted, just trying to get a variety of choices.

You can take Hp Envy x360 13"

It's a powerful yet compact convertible touchscreen laptop.

Possibly the best laptop 600 $ can buy.

but in terms of raw performance, Acer Swift 3 15" is a beast. and because of less demand, it's gold variant is generally available for a good price.

Both are amazingly light for their size and definitely worth it.

I bought an Acer Aspire E15 last year for $600. Core i5 up to 3.4 GHz, 8 GB DDR5, 256 GB SSD, Nvidia GeForce MX150. Runs great and decent for gaming although I'd prefer a larger SSD.

I bought an acer nitro 5 2018 for 599

I5 8300h
1050ti 4gb
8gb ddr4
256nvme
1080p screen
Backlit keyboard.

Also for 599 i got an asus fx505 more recently.
Ryzen 5 3550h
Vega 8
Gtx 1050 2gb
8gb ddr4
256gb ssd (added a 500gb mx500)
1080p screen backlit keyboard.

I love ASUS but this time I couldn't find one in my range for an i5. My last lap was an i3 ASUS and I had it for ten years.
