[SOLVED] trying to use two laptops for file sharing that are connected to same wifi router or network.

Hello sir I have one pc which is connected to internet through a router (LAN) using ethernet cable. The router also enables my laptops to use wifi so i have connected both laptops using wifi to the router. I am trying to connect these PC to a single public folder or server to share files. I have enabled Network sharing. My network is also showing in network folder (as I attached a screenshot). What should I do to connect these pc's???
I'm using windows 10 (latest version)

You must do two things:

1) Create the shared folder on the target host computer.

2) Grant access to that shared folder to other network devices/users.

I am not sure where you are in the overall process but the topic is "File Sharing".

You can easily find many other tutorials and "how-to's" explaining the requirements and process.

Sketch out your file sharing plans/requirements.

Use the above links or other similar links to then set up the necessary file sharing.

Focus first on getting the shared folder in place and then getting one other computer to be able to successfully access the folder.

Then use what you learned to set up access for other computers on the network.
