Some of the parts in those builds are of questionable quality. If you build yourself, or get it assembled professionally, you can get much better quality parts for that kind of budget. The individual parts will have same warranty...

I agree. You'll probably get a better computer if you were to build it yourself or get it professionally put together by a local computer store with parts you select. Most local stores I know (here in the US) charge a fee for putting computers together, but some will waive that fee if you purchase the components from them.

If you have a local store and are unwilling to try building it yourself, I'd recommend going this route. Do you have a local store (Mom and Pop Type) that could do this for you?

Even if you buy the parts yourself and then get it assembled, the fee they will charge is usually pretty negligible.
