Malware? On my previous thread https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...hould-make-a-new-thread-for-each-one.3615133/

I shared some problems I had with my CPU Fx-8350 And I was told that the symptoms were Indicators of malware.

1 YouTube video started taking up 20 to 40% of my CPU and 10c Increase in temperature

System interrupts would go to 100% if I didn't have task manager open..

my CPU was idling at 45-50c

And my fan was deafeningly loud.

and switching to power-saving mode in power options fixed all The issues. Last three days no problem now.

Malwarebytes Free and Windows 10 defender are the only anti-malware software I have installed but both could not detect a problem.

what do you guys think I should do? How do I fix this and remove it or is the best option to reformat? if I do reformat can I save any data or do I have to burn it all?

could this malware be attached to Firefox? if so should I try deleting and redownloading Firefox first?

any advice would help thanks
