I tried to replace the Thermal Paste on a GPU as temps are getting pretty high after basic use (60+ degrees c), Its a blower style and I tried unscrewing the back but one of the screwheads is stripped and wont come out.
Any tips for removing the screw?
Also, its on an old 770 and cpu temps...

I wanted to test this after my CPU started to spike to 99°C at 5.0GHz 1.37v. When the system was stable I was getting around 78°C under load in game. Recently it started to...
Hey everyone!
I'm trying to improve my GPU temps (RTX 2080 TI Gaming OC) because after two years of using the card they pretty much suck (see one of my older post). After some testing and reading about it online it seems that the thermal paste and pads used by Gigabyte aren't that great and...
Hello everyone, I hope you do great
I have a Ryzen 9 5950x with a Noctua NH-D15 (Dual fan)
I know that in Ryzen it is common and normal to have temperature peaks in IDLE, for example being at 40º it jumps to 67 for a second and goes down again.
But does this also happen while the CPU is under...
Hello community.
About 1 month ago I have temperature problems on my 8700k, I got to the point of putting it under voltage and limiting my fps in games so that the temperatures do not go through the clouds (75-85 ° with a load of 25 to 35% in games)
I have already tried almost everything, like...
I have had a crashing issue while gaming for over 2 years now. I have replaced my processor, ram, motherboard, and GPU and the crashing still presists. I think this COULD be caused by a defective power supply at this point. While gaming, the power supply Power % in MSI Afterburn is at around...
Hello, my GPU is running very hot while gaming (on the loading screen, the temp is already at 84 C). While gaming GPU temps sit around 83-84 C. My computer crashes often while gaming for anywhere more than 30 minutes, and I think temps could be the cause of it, or.... it could be a faulty power...
Cheers,
First of all, my PC:
-Ryzen 9 5950x
-RTX 3070
-Noctua NH - D15 (One fan only)
The other day I ran the AIDA64 stress test for 2 hours and the maximum it reached is 80º Celsius.
Playing Cyberpunk 2077 my temperatures are around 70º - 78º but the CPU usage is between 10% and 30%...
I have a ryzen7 5800x and rtx 3090 suprim x and was wondering what you guys thought of my temps after playing cyberpunk for a little while. I've been at a steady 68c on my gpu and 72c on my cpu? Are those pretty adequate or too high? My case is an o11 dynamic with 6 intakes and 3 outtake as my aio.
Hello everyone, English is not my mother tongue so i hope you understand what i say. So, in a couple of weeks time, i will probably buy a new CPU cooler and because i'm on a budget, i have to get the best bang for the buck CPU cooler cuz for some reason, on my local electronics shop there are no...
Upon boot into windows my GPU fans will not spin. Under load im reaching 100C Current temps and 120+ Junction temps. However a quick change in settings in AMD tuning boots them back up. I just click on default then click Auto OC in , before i remedy this it reads fans at 65550rpm when they...
Guys I have an MSI Ventus 2X RTX 3070 and i never overclocked my GPU or any previous Gpus, I just set the Temp limit and Power limit to max for more performance, I also set Core Voltage to 100% on afterburner I thought it would make the GPU more stable but it crashed and restarted my PC 3 times...
Just a general query, I’m running an i9 9900k at stock with a Corsair H100i V2. I’m hitting around the mid 50s on all cores in gaming loads. My question is this a good temperature range for long periods and chip longevity? If so at point would you get concerned when looking at gaming loads...
Hello,
My computer gets pretty hot most of the time (55°C at idle) (80°C usually while gaming) and I was wondering, would it be bad for my computer if I open my window and allow for cold air to come in my room and cool it off? My computer is near my window and it helps a lot but I was worried...
Hello,
I play Fortnite and GTA and I notice that my temps get really really hot, especially in Fortnite. My temps reach to 82C when I am in a game, and I am worried that those high of temps can damage my computer. I have my Fortnite settings set for performance, therefore my settings for the...
Can somebody who already test (not somebody who watch reviews like me) this two thermal paste's, can give me advice which one is better for Arctic freezer e-sport 34 duo (air cooler)?
Thanks XD
Hey guys,
So was thinking about using this AIO for my upcoming build and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it or just has an opinion. Reviews seem pretty good online but I just want to be 100% sure.
I’ll be cooling a 10900K with it in a Phanteks P500A or P400A case (Still to...
Hi, I have a problem I hope you can help me since I am not sure what the issue is. Lately when I am playing any games (have tried with apex and bf5) my PC suddently does not have video or audio but it remains turned on so I have to manually turn it off. If I turn it back on right away I will not...
Alright hi !

I am asking as to being new to this and would actually like a basic run down of this. My younger sibling likes to play roblox quite a bit and a game which gets the cpu in what I think is hot is Arsenal up to 53 degrees C. In a way I am aware the roblox platform is very unoptimized. I keep all...
I recently built a new system about a month ago, and just now started noticing ryzen 5 3600 jumping in temps for no reason even on idle, I wanted to change my power plan to ryzen balanced , but after every 10 - 15 mins of my pc working or me restarting it, it changes back to ultimate...
Hi, I recently got a new PC that I assembled on my own. My RTX 2070S is going at about 70-72C in gaming at while the fans appear in MSI afterburner to be used at about 60% capacity. On internet I found people get about 60-65 degrees with it. Is it ok? Should I set a custom fan control or is my...

My first pc I ever build is great and all, but the temps are bad...
I got a ryzen 5 3600 and a noctua nh-d15 on it, yes I do know it's overkill but hey - it should cool it down right?
But it doesn't.
On prime95 I get 80-83c* and I've tried a thousand things to...
I recently just switched cases and I was making sure this was okay. I did notice that when I moved things in and out that the fans run much harder then before, specifically I feel like the GPU fan constantly runs or Power supply. I'm taking it in within a few days but i wanted to double check! I...
I saw on different forums some people calming that their 9700k runs iddle 30c and gaming 50c with different air cooling/corsair water cooling...... at 5.0ghz

In some more demanding games, my EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 KO ULTRA GAMING slowly but surely climbs up to 84-85 degrees Celsius, and I am worried that if I played, for longer it cold continue to climb still. My fans are at high speeds, making my PC fairly loud already in demanding games. Do I have a...
I have an i7-9700k overclocked to 4.8 GHz with an AIO water cooler (Coolermaster ml240l), I used to get much lower idle temps when I first got the PC around 4 months ago (around 24-28) on idle that is, and now I'm getting temps around 41, I mean the weather where I live has changed but not that...
To start of, from what I saw on reviews on the 1080ti using a 120mm AIO, the average temp I’m people got under max load was under 50c. I installed a 120mm AIO cooler on my 1080ti and placed the radiator and fans in a push/pull config in the rear of the case. As I was in amazon looking a...
Hi!
I am considering between these two GPUs:
Msi RTX 2060 Super Gaming X
Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super Windforce OC
They are quite similar but the Msi one is slightly more expensive. The reason as to why I am unsure is because I saw on some reviews, forum threads and also YouTube videos saying that...
I recently build a new PC with and i7 9700k CPU and a RX 5700 XT GPU. I'm cooling the CPU with an cooler master ml240l in a NZXT h500 case. Everything seems to run fine but I can feel how hot the case gets. I expected some heat but I barely want to touch around the front of the case where the...
Hi I'm bad at forums, sorry if this has already been posted. But my questions should be easy ones.
Okay so I've set up a new Ryzen 2700 build and used the motherboard's OC Genie 4 to give myself a basic overclock. I know it's a "dirty" overclock but I really don't care to do it manually, I just...
I'm running an Z370-F Gaming (BIOS: 2401) and i7-8700 (non k) with temps/volts spiking to 75°C/1.5v under load. Cooler is liquid ML240R, as per title. Seems like a high spike in volts, if nothing else. The ambient temps in all cases was ~22°C, although I fear in summer @ 40°C ambient, it will...
Hey guys,
I recently finished a new build, with a ryzen 7 3700X, and I feel like im having some issues.
I could hear my fans ramping up and down over and over, so I went and played with the fan curve a bit, no luck.
Upon looking more and verifying through hardward monitor, it seems like...
Hello,
I was wondering what is a good temp for a GPU and cpu to be while gaming. I have a alienware Aurora r7, and the only way i usually check is if i click the arrow on my taskbar and there is a setting that says thermal controller. While gaming, i think my temps may be getting high. When I...
Hello everyone, first of all, English is not my mother tongue so i hope you understand what i say. So i am running Folding@Home almost 24/7 and i wanted to know if it hurts my GPU (For my CPU it definitely hurts because it hits above 90c so let's not talk about that lol). So when the software...
